Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information BhooMeter 360 collects, how it is used, and the choices users have when using the BhooMeter 360 app and related services.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the BhooMeter 360 mobile application, the BhooMeter 360 website, and related support or account services operated by BhooMeter 360.
By using BhooMeter 360, you acknowledge that we may collect and use information as described in this policy.
2. Information We May Collect
The categories of information we may collect depend on the features you use.
- Account information such as your name, email address, phone number, login details, and profile information when you create or access an account.
- Location information, including precise or approximate location, when you use GPS-based measurement, walking measurement, tractor tracking, or related location features.
- Measurement and project information such as land boundaries, saved projects, selected locations, valuation inputs, FSI inputs, notes, and related measurement history.
- Marketplace listing information such as land category, area, price, survey or land-reference details, precise or approximate location, mapped boundaries, photographs, seller role, contact preferences, ownership or authority declarations, and listing availability.
- Moderation and trust information such as submission and review timestamps, reviewer decisions, rejection reasons, complaint history, duplicate or fraud-risk signals, and records of actions taken on a listing or account.
- Verification information you choose or are required to provide, such as identity, authority, or land-record documents. Verification documents are intended for restricted internal review and are not displayed publicly unless we clearly tell you otherwise and obtain any required permission.
- Device and app information such as device model, operating system, app version, language, push token, identifiers used by third-party SDKs, and diagnostic information.
- Transaction information related to subscriptions, purchases, refunds, or billing events processed through authorized payment providers.
- Communications and support information when you contact us for help, feedback, account issues, or service requests.
3. How We Use Information
- To create and manage user accounts.
- To provide GPS-based, map-based, manual, tractor, valuation, and FSI-related product features.
- To save, sync, restore, and manage land measurements and project history.
- To process subscriptions, purchases, billing events, and customer support requests.
- To send important service messages, notifications, or account-related communication.
- To maintain app security, prevent abuse, investigate fraud, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- To review marketplace submissions, detect duplicates or misleading content, communicate required corrections, approve or reject publication, investigate reported listings, and maintain an audit history.
- To improve product performance, reliability, and user experience.
4. Location Data
BhooMeter 360 uses location data to support measurement and land-mapping workflows. Depending on the feature and device permission granted, location may be accessed while the app is in use and, for supported GPS measurement workflows, during an active background-tracking session started by the user.
If background location is enabled on your device, it is intended to support continuity of an active measurement session when the screen turns off or the app is briefly minimized. You can change location permissions at any time in your device settings.
5. Marketplace Listings and Moderation
A submitted marketplace listing remains private while it is awaiting review. Information approved for publication may become visible to marketplace visitors, search engines, and people receiving a shared listing link. Public listing content can include land details, approximate or exact map context according to the selected privacy setting, photographs, seller category, and protected contact options.
Moderation records and private verification documents are accessible only to authorised personnel and service providers who need them for review, security, support, storage, or legal compliance. We may preserve a record of decisions and complaints to prevent repeated abuse and resolve disputes.
A listing report may include the selected reason, the facts or public evidence link supplied by the reporter, the reporter account when signed in, and privacy-protected technical identifiers used to limit duplicate or abusive submissions. The seller workflow shows the moderation action and decision reason, but does not expose reporter identity or the reporter's submitted evidence.
Do not upload unnecessary personal information or unredacted documents containing unrelated bank, family, biometric, or government identifier data. Where supported, redact information that is not required for the stated verification check.
6. Sharing and Service Providers
We may share information with service providers or technology partners that help us operate the service, such as hosting, authentication, mapping, notifications, advertising, payments, or support tools.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to enforce agreements, or in connection with a business transfer permitted by law.
7. Ads, Analytics, and Third-Party SDKs
If advertising, analytics, messaging, payments, or sign-in SDKs are used in the app, those providers may process device or usage-related information according to their own policies and contractual arrangements with BhooMeter 360.
On eligible public website pages, Google AdSense may serve advertisements and process browser, device, advertising identifier, cookie, consent, and interaction data in accordance with your consent choices and Google's policies. Where required, advertising consent is collected through a Google-certified consent management platform.
On the BhooMeter 360 website, optional Google Analytics cookies are not loaded unless you accept analytics cookies. You can decline without losing product features and can reopen Cookie preferences from the website footer.
BhooMeter 360 does not use background location for advertising or passive all-day monitoring.
8. Data Retention and User Choices
- You may review or update certain account information inside the app or by contacting us.
- You may revoke location, notification, or other device permissions through your device settings.
- We may retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, or maintain security records.
- Public listing data is removed from marketplace discovery when a listing is rejected, deactivated, or expired, but moderation, complaint, payment, fraud-prevention, and verification records may be retained for a reasonable period where needed for security, disputes, legal compliance, or repeat-abuse prevention.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to help protect personal information. However, no method of storage, transmission, or security control is completely guaranteed.
10. Children's Privacy
BhooMeter 360 is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When material changes are made, we may update the date on this page and take other steps as appropriate for the change.
